What happens next
Our team is working hard to ensure your transition is as seamless as possible.
In the meantime, there’s nothing you need to do. You’ll hear from us again soon with more details about the next steps.
Already investing with IWeb
-
We’re working to change as little as possible. Your account code and login details will all stay the same.
Some customers might see a change to their Personal Reference Number (PRN). We’ll contact you with the details if your PRN is changing.
-
To introduce some of the new features we will need to change some of the terms of your account. We will make these readily available for you before the change so you can make sure to familiarise yourself.
-
We’re not changing how you contact us, our number will stay the same and web chat will also be available. If you have any questions we haven’t already answered here, then please call or chat to us online.
-
The FSCS protection covering products offered by Halifax Share Dealing Limited will continue to cover your products under Scottish Widows Share Dealing.
Halifax Share Dealing Limited is a participant in the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. Customers categorised as a retail client may be able to make a claim on this scheme if either default in their obligations to them. Compensation of up to 100% of the first £85,000 of assets held with each legal entity may be available to eligible claimants.
The limit is applied to the aggregated total of any stock or cash held across all products and brands they provide.
If you're new to IWeb
-
Yes. We’re not stopping any applications to our accounts in the run up to the changes or after we become Scottish Widows Share Dealing.
-
Our operational tasks and teams will stay the same, including our account opening process - even if you apply through IWeb just before the change.
-
If you’re a new customer, you might not receive all our direct communications. Don’t worry, as well as our direct communications, we’ll post updates online. This way, everyone can stay informed about changes.
