NatWest retail share offer

The government announced their intention to sell part of their shareholding
in NatWest resulting in a retail share offer opportunity.

Retail share offer, what is it?

It’s the opportunity for individual investors to purchase shares directly from a company or the government.

Why is the NatWest retail share offer happening?

In the 2024 Budget, the Chancellor announced that the government intends to sell part of its shareholding in NatWest
directly to retail investors. This could be as early as summer 2024, subject to market conditions.

The NatWest share offer could include a discounted share price however, this has not yet been confirmed. The offer is
likely to be open for a limited period and there may be only a short amount of notice before it happens.

When will the offer happen?

Following the Chancellor’s announcement the offer is likely to happen this summer. No set date has been announced
at this time.

How to get involved.

The Chancellor is yet to announce full details of the offer, including who can take part, how many shares they can
buy and what the price will be.
